Takeover target De Vere will develop a 154-bedroom hotel at Slough Estates’ 125-acre office park in Farnborough, Hampshire.
The Village Hotel & Leisure Club will include a pub, restaurant, conference facilities and 25m swimming pool.
De Vere said last week that it had received a second takeover approach.
The group, which has also just sold its Grand Hotel in Jersey to Hillwood Resorts and Hotels a new £500m jv between Delancey and two former directors of Hand Picked Hotels for £15.5m, said it was still expanding and would submit six planning applications by the end of this year.
