Internal doors manufacturer Deanta has secured planning permission to add a further warehouse, distribution space and offices to its existing facilities at 400 Lancaster Way Business Park, Cambridgeshire.
Deanta’s current headquarters at the park measure 130,000 sq ft, with the proposed expansion set to more than double the space it occupies to accommodate growth over at least the next five years.
Designed by Gary Johns Architects, the new 165,000 sq ft building will provide circa 94,000 sq ft of warehouse space, 40,000 sq ft of manufacturing facilities, 17,000 sq ft of offices and 14,000 sq ft of leisure space. Additional car and cycle parking spaces will also be provided on site.
The building is expected to meet BREEAM Very Good standards.
To tie the new development with existing headquarters, a central space will be created, forming an external break-out area with planted garden.
