Deeley Freed beats rivals to Bristol office scheme

Local developer Deeley Freed Estates has been selected ahead of rivals Terrace Hill and Alfred McAlpine as lead developer of a 200,000 sq ft (18,600 sq m) office scheme at Portwall Lane, Bristol.

Sited at the gateway to the citys new Redcliff Village development, the £60m project is expected to go before the citys planners in the spring.

Deeley Freed has been given an option on the site by the trustees of St Mary Redcliff Church and motor dealer Dick Lovatt Group.

“Pre-planning discussions are now under way but its not the type of development we would want to build speculatively,” said Deeley Freed director Andrew Maltby.
