Deeley Freed buys Bristol office park site for £2m

Bristol developer Deeley Freed has bought Office Vantage Park, a five-acre office park site in Parkway, North Bristol for £2m.

The site, which has outline planning consent, is part of the core North Bristol office district close to established parks Aztec West, Bristol Business Park and Bristol Parkway North.

Deeley Freed has applied for detailed consent to develop the first phase of 22,000 sq ft speculatively. It will be constructed in eight buildings, ranging from 2,000-4,000 sq ft with work planned to start on site in November and completion in June 2005.

Last year, more than 70% of all office deals in North Bristol were below 4,000 sq ft.

Mark Tyrrell, director of Deeley Freed said, “The North Bristol market is still extremely tight and is being driven by lack of new quality space and strong demand especially from smaller companies supplying the big businesses in the area.”

Alder King acted for Deeley Freed and Hartnell Taylor Cook and King Sturge acted for the vendor Westroc.
