Deeley Freed wins OK for 170,000 sq ft Bristol office scheme

Deeley Freed has been given the green light for 170,000 sq ft of offices (pictured) at the Dick Lovett car showroom site at Portwall Lane in Redcliff, Bristol.

The site borders the city’s Temple Quay office core and is highly unlikely to be built before a prelet is secured. The Dick Lovett showroom will relocate to Cribbs Causeway when work begins.

Andrew Maltby, director of Deeley Freed, claimed: “This is one of the best-located new office schemes in Bristol and will play a major role in the regeneration of Redcliff which will be completely transformed in the next few years.”

Portwall Lane is Deeley Freed’s fifth development in Redcliff in the past few years, with schemes including Georges Square on Bristol Bridge, which won a Civic Society Award, and the BCWA building on Redcliff Street.

King Sturge and Alder King acted for Deeley Freed.
