Deely Freed wins consent for 35,000 sq ft office scheme in Victoria Street, Bristol

Deely Freed Estates has just won planning consent for 3,251 sq m (35,000 sq ft) of offices at 10-22 Victoria Street, Bristol – a site which has not been occupied since World War II.

The scheme was prelet – conditional upon consent – to local solicitor Wansbrough Willey Hargrave earlier this year. The company had agreed to sign a 15 year lease at £156 per sq m (£14.50 per sq ft). Work will start next month and the building is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

Deely is also about to market a separate development, at 90 Victoria Street, for around £3.9m. The 2,322 sq m (25,000 sq ft) building is prelet to health insurer BCWA at £129 per sq m (£12 per sq ft).

Hartnell Taylor Cook and Chesterton advised Deely Freed Estates at 10-22 Victoria Street, while the tenant was unrepresented. HTC also acted for Deely at No. 90.
