Delancey has hired a real estate debt specialist from Legal & General Investment Management to join its capital markets team.
Kate Drew joins the company as director of capital markets, reporting to head of capital markets Lorna Brown.
Drew will source, underwrite and execute debt to support clients’ equity investments as well as originate deals for Delancey’s debt platform.
At LGIM, Drew helped the fund manager to double assets under management for the real estate debt platform. Before joining the group she spent three and a half years in Lloyds Banking Group’s commercial real estate team.
