According to EG Radius data, average industrial rents in Lutterworth have averaged around £10.40 per sq ft over the past 12 months.
The deal is the latest in a flurry of leases signed by Evri. In August the group signed 10-year leases on a 133,000 sq ft unit in Sheffield and 113,000 sq ft in Bristol.
The firm is advised by Lambert Smith Hampton, which has also been appointed to find sites for Evri across London, the South East and the West and East Midlands for short-term last-mile delivery units to meet seasonal business demand.
Evri is seeking around 20 “pop-up” units of between 3,000 sq ft and 20,000 sq ft on short-term flexible leases.
