Deloitte will close four offices as working from home forces the firm to rethink its property needs.
The Big Four accountant has chosen not to renew leases at Gatwick, Liverpool, Nottingham and Southampton, telling the 500 staff who work there that they can now work from home.
“Covid-19 has fast-tracked our programme, leading us to review our real estate portfolio and how we use our offices across the UK, including London,” said Stephen Griggs, Deloitte’s UK managing partner.
“Any proposed change is to our bricks and mortar, not our presence in these regions.”
