Deloitte Consulting is to take a prelet on Scottish Widows’ redevelopment of Athene Place on Shoe Lane, London EC4.
Deloitte will take all of the office space in the 18,580m2 (200,000 sq ft) scheme. The small retail element will remain vacant.
The parties would not reveal details of the lease terms, but City agents believe Deloitte is taking an institutional lease at a rent just over £430 per m2 (£40 per sq ft). The scheme is due to be completed by the end of 2001.
Jones Lang LaSalle, which acted as planning consultant and development manager, is joint letting agent with Allsop & Co. JLL also acted for Deloitte Consulting.
