Dencora brings spec back to Barking

Dencora Properties has secured consent for Barking’s first speculative development for a decade – a 5,202 sq m (56,000 sq ft) industrial and warehouse scheme located at the junction of Ripple Road and Alfreds Way on the A13.

The development, known as The Invicta Centre, will comprise five units of 500 sq m (5,400 sq ft) each and two stand-alone buildings of 1,300 sq m (14,000 sq ft) and 1,400 sq m (15,000 sq ft).

Dencora anticipates the scheme will meet pent-up demand which has built up as a result of a lack of supply. One unit has already been reserved at £69.97 per sq m (£6.50 per sq ft) on a 15-year lease.
