Urban regeneration company Derby Cityscape has revealed plans for one of the city’s largest development opportunities.
The £110m North Riverside mixed-use development will sit on a 17-acre site by the River Derwent. The Atkins-designed scheme will include up to 400 flats, 90,000 sq ft of offices and a 200-bedroom, four-star hotel. Derby Cityscape plans to bring the site to market before the end of the year.
The redevelopment of the North Riverside area is one of the priority projects within the Derby Cityscape masterplan. Work will start on site in August 2009, with completion scheduled for 2012.
