Derbyshire developer Cheslyn makes commercial debut with business park in Nottingham

Derbyshire-based Cheslyn Development has bought 0.77ha (1.9 acres) on Daleside Road in the Sneinton district of Nottingham for a 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft) business park – its first purely commercial scheme. The £2.5m scheme will be divided into 10 units.

The land earmarked for development forms part of Sneinton Railwaylands, a flagship site within Nottingham City Challenge which was set up in 1992 to regenerate Sneinton and St Anns.

Nattrass Giles’ Ray Valenti, who is advising Chelyn, said four potential occupiers had already assessed the scheme.

Cheslyn will submit a planning application at some point in the next few weeks and hopes to start work within three months.
