The design for a new headquarters for container shipping company CMA CGM will be unveiled at MIPIM next week.
The 110m high, 430,000 sq ft building in Marseilles, in the South of France, has been designed by award-winning London-based architect Zaha Hadid and is being developed by urban renewal agency Marseilles-Euroméditerranée.
The concrete and metal tower will be covered in a transparent sheath to “integrate the site into the Marseilles landscape”.
Construction of the harbourfront tower is expected to be complete by 2007.
Marseilles-Euroméditerranée will also launch the tender of the Euromed-Centre at MIPIM.
