Detox Kitchen cleans up in W1

Detox-Kitchen-foodCelebrity favourite The Detox Kitchen has signed as the first restaurant tenant at 2 Fitzroy Place, W1.

Exemplar, Aviva and Kaupthing have agreed the deal with the health food specialist, which counts supermodel Elle Macpherson and actress Gwyneth Paltrow among its fans.

It will occupy a new 2,000 sq ft café and restaurant on the ground floor.

The Detox Kitchen, founded by Lily Simpson, currently has a restaurant on Kingly Street, Soho, W1, and plans to open a third by the end of the year.

Allfunds Bank, a joint subsidiary of Santander and Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has also been confirmed as taking 17,000 sq ft on the top two floors of Fitzroy Place at a rent understood to be around £90 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.

CBRE and JLL are letting agents on the scheme.
