DeTrafford’s £95m 366-home Gallery Gardens residential scheme is set to go back to Manchester City Council’s planning committee next week.
The Castlefield scheme, which consists of two towers ranging from eight to 18 storeys, also contains plans for more than 2,300 sq ft of commercial space.
It was set for approval when the scheme was put forward for discussion at the council’s planning committee on 13 February.
However, a site visit needed to take place before a decision could be made.
Manchester City Council requires that developers must provide 20% affordable housing in new residential developments delivering more than 15 homes.
However, DeTrafford has proposed to commit £250,000 to the delivery of off-site affordable housing on a brownfield site.
DeTrafford has estimated that it will make a £12m profit on the scheme.
