Deutsche Bank to retire RREEF brand

Deutsche Bank is to bring a number of brands under the Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management label, marking the end of the RREEF name.

The German bank pulled a number of fund management brands under one roof last September following a restructure.

These included DWS, DWS Americas, db X-trackers, db X-markets, DB Advisors, DB Platinum Advisors, DB Private Equity, Deutsche Insurance Asset Management and RREEF.

A spokesperson confirmed that all those brands would be “dropped immediately” and their work swallowed up by the new asset and wealth management division.

The purpose of the rebrand is to “make it easy for clients to recognise” Deutsche’s activities across the world.

RREEF is the second-biggest property fund manager in the world behind CBRE Global Investors with around $60bn (£39.5bn) of assets under management.
