Developer presses ahead with major mixed use scheme near Bristol

Limeridge Properties is pressing ahead with plans for the redevelopment of the 9.3ha (23 acre) former MOD depot at Wyndham Way, Portishead, Bristol, as 29,728 sq m (320,000 sq ft) of offices and warehousing.

Demolition and clearance work has already begun and is due for completion in September. According to Geoff Dodge of Limeridge: “The site has been brought forward to take advantage of the increase in demand in the area due to the success of the nearby Royal Portbury Docks and the arrival of the Second Severn Crossing.”

Outline consent for the scheme already exists but a detailed application will only be submitted once pre-lets have been secured. Letting agents DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Alder King are currently in discussion with several potential occupiers. The scheme will be known as Gordano Gate.
