Wyre Forest District Council and North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration are seeking a developer to bring forward the first phase of Lion Fields in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
About 3.6 acres is being put up for the sale on the mixed-use regeneration projection, which has been allocated for cinema use, cafes, restaurants and a multi-storey car park.
The entire 16-acre site, the first phase of which housed the now demolished Glades Leisure Centre, is being redeveloped to include a mix of leisure, retail, residential, creative and community uses.
Ed Jeffrey of Savills development team said: “This is an exciting opportunity for a developer to bring forward the first phase of Lion Fields, which upon completion will be transformational for Kidderminster. Parcel one’s location means it will act as an entrance and gateway to the wider development, making it of particular strategic importance to the future success of the scheme as a whole.”
Savills is advising the councils.
