Oracle Group, Ballymore and Galliard have revealed plans to redevelop a 7-acre site next to Pan Peninsula in east London as a 2m sq ft mixed-use scheme.
The developers are in talks to buy the Audi garage site on Marsh Wall, E14, which they plan to redevelop as 500 flats, two hotels and 100,000 sq ft of shops.
They are negotiating with Tower Hamlets council about planning requirements.
Norman Foster has been appointed as masterplanner.
Darryl Flay, managing director of Oracle Homes, the housing subsidiary of David Burke’s private developer, Oracle Group, said the scheme was part of his company’s plan to be the third-largest developer in the Docklands after Canary Wharf Group and Ballymore.
He said the company planned to expand to seven offices by the end of the year.
This includes a £7m, 6,500 sq ft freehold off Welbeck Street, W1, which will serve as the group HQ a 1,000 sq ft Docklands office that was opened earlier this year at its 25 storey, £305m mixed-use scheme at Indescon Court, E14 and an office in New York, where it is looking for sites.
