A joint venture led by developer Central & Provincial Properties has filed plans for the conversion of a four-storey office block to a 171-room hotel in Hammersmith, W6.
It is seeking permission to turn Grove House, W6, into a hotel.
The proposed 86,090 sq ft scheme is being brought forward by London-headquartered Central & Provincial Properties, French developer Legendre UK and two other minority investors.
The existing 65,695 sq ft office building has been marketed without success since September 2022.
Proposals for the building include the retention of the auditorium and creation of a roof terrace, affordable workspace, café and public realm.
Proposed design improvements, created by GRID Architects, feature full-height windows on the ground floor, a new smaller entrance canopy and improvements to the external staircase.
DP9 is advising the developers on planning matters.
