MetroHolst has won outline consent for 150,000 sq ft (13,935 sq m) of offices and a 210-bed four star hotel in Leeds’ developing arts quarter.

Menzies Hotel has advised architect Benoy on the design of the hotel although no contract has been finalised.

Metro Holst is also bidding to build a 500,000 sq ft (46,450 sq m) office scheme on a 3.37-acre (1.36ha) site at Quarry Hill in Leeds.

Metro Holst is a joint venture between Metropolitan Development Group and Norwest Holst Group.

Norwest Holst is currently being rebranded as Vinci, the name of its Paris-based parent company.
