Development plan for Bradley Fold

Bury council is set to redevelop the 26-acre Bradley Fold Trading Estate, near Bolton.

LSH has been appointed as adviser on the redevelopment of the 26-acre mostly-vacant industrial estate. Plans are currently at the initial feasibility stage, with a development brief expected in the new year.

The estate is Bury’s largest non-operational property asset.

LSH will also advise the council on a review of its assets to maximise its property revenue through development, regeneration and refurbishment.

Gayle Taylor, director of building consultancy at LSH’s Manchester office, said: “LSH has a detailed knowledge of the project, having worked previously on the Bradley Fold Trading Estate in both a building consultancy and industrial agency capacity. Getting involved with the council at this initial feasibility stage allows us to help shape the next chapter for the site and further develop our working relationship with Bury council.”
