Diageo is to close its spirits sales and marketing headquarters inPerth.
The announcement comes soon after Commercial Union and GeneralAccident (GA) announced a merger with the combined group looking tolocate its new headquarters in London. GA’s head office is in Perth.
Diageo was formed in a merger between Guiness and Grand Metropolitan.It has chosen Harlow in Essex as its marketing base.
