Philip Rooney is the new head of property at nationwide law firm Dibb Lupton Alsop.
He takes command of over 100 lawyers in the firm’s Property and Construction Group. The Group brings in nearly 20% of the firm’s £100m annual fee income.
Rooney was formerly head of Dibbs’ Liverpool Property Group. The firm’s North West offices reported a 12% rise in fee income to %#163;22m over the last financial year, of which some £7m came from the Liverpool office.
Rooney is confident that changing market conditions will not stop the firm’s growth: “The next year or two will be very active in property. Hopefully we will not see a return to the boom and bust cycle which has plagued property in the past.”
