Fashion brand Diesel is returning to Birmingham with a new 2,600 sq ft store in the Bullring.
The new shop, on the upper mall in Hammerson’s 1m sq ft shopping centre, is due to open in October.
Diesel currently has 15 shops in the UK, as well as a concession in the Bullring’s Selfridges department store.
Footwear retailer Office will relocate to a larger shop on the lower level in August to facilitate Diesel’s arrival.
Sarah Mander, assistant director of retail leasing at Hammerson, said: “It is great news for Bullring that Diesel has chosen the centre to make its comeback in Birmingham with a new stand-alone store.”
Pablo Sueiras, commercial director at Diesel, added: “Diesel’s upcoming stand-alone store in Birmingham marks the brand’s clear premium positioning in the Bullring amongst the adjacent elevated fashion retailers on the upper mall.”
Bidwell Webber De Pons advised on the letting.
