Diesel Jeans and Ciro Citterio have emerged as the tenants for the last two units at Fort Retail Park in Birmingham.
The retailers are paying a record rent of about £452 per sq m (£42 per sq ft) for their 510 sq m (5,500 sq ft) units. The majority of stores were let early last year at between £193.75 per sq m and £269 per sq m (£18 per sq ft and £25 per sq ft). By holding back the last two units, new owners AMP Asset Management, Clerical Medical and BA Pension Fund have managed to take full advantage of a rising market.
Other occupiers at the park, which is being completed by Richardsons Developments, will include Bhs, WH Smith and HMV. A total of 21 stores are set to open in March.
