Digital Garage plans for Leeds

Google is working in association with Allied London’s HelloWork initiative to launch a Digital Garage at the 150,000 sq ft Leeds Dock development.

The project, which begins operation next week, is situated at the heart of the development.

Allied London chief executive Mike Ingall said: “As the development begins to take shape, we will soon be able to announce new bars and restaurants, as well as a creation to be known as The Union, where street food, retail and events experiences will combine”.

“The London operation of HelloWork is due to open very shortly and we are setting out our vision and ambition for the creative digital triangle: London, Manchester and Leeds. HelloWork offers drop-in work desks, resident desks and studios but most importantly a thriving community and events programme, which are creating eco structures for people to join and benefit.”

Allied London’s HelloWork platform is already making big waves in Leeds and Manchester and, as a curator of spaces, it is acting as an activity cultivator in these cities, with a new London offering following soon.
