BNP Paribas Real Estate invites you to visit the POD, the first connected virtual reality workstation.
What is the POD?
Already a long-standing feature in gaming, virtual reality is now being adopted in the corporate world. It will soon form a part of everyday life in the real estate sector. With the POD, the first connected Virtual Reality connected workstation, invented by Vectuel and Ramy Fischler (RF Studio), BNP Paribas Real Estate invites you to undertake a brand new experience.
What can you discover inside?
The POD reduces space-time and allows you to discover a place without actually going there: get into the capsule, make yourself comfortable, position the virtual reality headset and choose the building you want to immerse yourself in – whether offices, retail premises or an apartment.
Once you are inside, you can move around freely in the POD space to cover the floor area available to you. Cross the entrance hall, check out the meeting room, move around the floors…
- Whether wanting to invest in their country or abroad, an investor can project themselves into a building that does not yet exist.
- The members of a management committee can take their employees into a relocation project to visit and choose their future HQ.
- In large town planning project, the POD, transformed into a flying carpet, allows to fly over a district and integrate a construction programme into the agglomeration environment.
- The POD allows employees based in different countries to participate in a 3D videoconference in a virtually simulated room.
The POD thereby integrates you into the company’s different projects and offers a multisensory experience.
Where can I find the POD?
