Gary Cardin, head of the Birmingham office of Drivers Jonas Deloitte, is to become the deputy chair of Birmingham Forward.
Cardin will take on the role until the autumn, when he will become chairman.
The appointment is to be confirmed at the organisation’s AGM on 30 June.
Other new board members include Matt Taylor of Headline, Alex Bishop of Shoosmiths, Tom Durrant of Gateley, Ben Gulliford of Barclays Wealth, Ian Forrest of Squire Sanders Hammonds, Adam Smith of Deloitte, Bhupendra Pattni of Birmingham Metropolitan College and Andrew Springhall of recruitment specialist Bluesource.
The news follows last month’s announcement that Peter Rees Steer is to become Birmingham Forward’s chief executive following a shake-up at the organisation.
