DNA gets go-ahead for Hillingdon co-living project

London Borough of Hillingdon has approved DNA’s plans for a mixed-use development in Uxbridge.

The site at 148-154 High Street, Uxbridge, which currently comprises a mix of office and retail, will be demolished to provide 162 hotel bedrooms and 320 co-living homes.

Moda is DNA’s development partner for the scheme.

DNA’s plans feature a U-shaped building with heights varying between 8 and 10 storeys.

The scheme also seeks to reuse the basement’s 130-space car park. This will be reduced to a nine-space car park with four allocated to the co-living development and five for hotel use.

The remaining area will be converted to 263 long-stay cycle parking space.
