Don’t miss Next Big Thing deadline

Next-Big-Thing-THUMBThere is less than a week left to join entries from around the world that are flooding in for Estates Gazette’s Next Big Thing international competition.

The challenge, in association with Cluttons, will review ideas from across the globe on how urban development can solve a worldwide, burgeoning space crisis as the UN predicts that the world’s population will exceed 10bn by 2038.

The entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges including RICS senior vice-president Amanda Clack and Cluttons senior partner Bill Siegle. The winner will receive £1,000 and will have their idea designed for the front cover of an issue of Estates Gazette magazine in July.

Damian Wild, editor of Estates Gazette and one of the Next Big Thing judges, said: “We have already had scores of exciting entries demonstrating innovative urban development, but we want more. This is your opportunity to show how the property industry can help the planet cope with soaring populations in its biggest cities.”
