Drakes Commercial surveyor dies

Amanda-Milne-THUMBDrake Commercial’s Amanda Milne has died.

The IAS member had 25 years’ experience in the industry and spent most of her career working in the Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes market.

She began her career at Berrys, and then Lambert Smith Hampton before she joined the original Drake & Partners in 2001. She spent 10 years with the company, a period which included its merger with Bidwells, developing into an agent specialising in the industrial and warehouse sector.

She left Bidwells to move client side, dealing with commercial properties across England and Wales, as well as the new homes sector across the East Midlands region. In 2013 she rejoined the reformed Drake Commercial.

An obituary published by the IAS said: “Amanda was extremely hard working, diligent and loyal, with a fantastic sense of humour and the contribution she made will not be forgotten. She was a valued colleague and friend, who will be sorely missed by us all.”
