Surveyor Dron & Wright is planning to fit out part of Prudential’s Bankside House in Leadenhall Street, London, EC3, as serviced offices. The firm has taken the building’s remaining 3,340 sq m (36,000 sq ft) on a 15 year lease.
Senior partner Peter Wonnacott said the venture was a means of generating new business for the firm. “We will be introducing the space to a number of our existing clients,” he added.
The Guild House Business Centre, which offers a similar service in nearby Plantation House, is due to close when the site is redeveloped by British Land.
Dron & Wright will move its business team into the building from its present offices in Burgon Street, EC4.
Nelson Bakewell and Allsop & Co advised the Pru.
