Drug discovery firm joins ARC West London

Molecule drug discovery company Kesmalea has secured a new hub in Hammersmith, W6.

The firm, which is backed by Syncona, Oxford Science Enterprises and BioInnovation Institute, has agreed a five-year lease with a break option at year three in the Waterfront building at ARC West London. The deal was signed at £94 per sq ft.

The 3,625 sq ft suite comprises fitted CL2 lab space and offices.

In addition, Kesmalea will have access to shared equipment, including an LN2 chryo store, autoclave, ducted fume hoor, ice machine, and purified water as well as access to shared meeting rooms.

ARC West London, comprises two buildings – Refinery and Waterfront – providing a combined 240,000 sq ft of lab and office space. The scheme is close to Imperial College’s medical training and research campus in Charing Cross Hospital.

Savills and JLL are retained leasing agents at ARC West London.
