Drug firm takes space at Chesterford Research Park

Drug discovery firm Healx has signed a lease for 3,500 sq ft of laboratory space at Chesterford Research Park in Saffron Waldon, Essex.

The fully fitted lab space features data connectivity, dedicated external plant area and CAT 6 cabling.

Neil Thompson, chief scientific officer at Healx, said: “The modern, purpose-built lab has the flexibility to support our scientific and technical ambitions and the location – close to our Cambridge headquarters – will enable us to expand our team with experienced local talent.”

Chesterford Research Park is home to life science and technology firms including Arecor, AstraZeneca, Cambridge Epigenetix, Charles River Laboratories, Domainex, Illumina and Lonza.
