Drum Property Group has submitted fresh plans for the latest phase of its Buchanan Wharf site in Glasgow.
The group already has consent for a 170,000 sq ft office development on the site but has submitted a new application to “capture specific market requirements”. The new plans for Building 6 will see the office provision cut to 75,000 sq ft, with ancillary amenity space at ground level.
The height of the office building will also be reduced from the 11 storeys proposed last summer to six storeys.
In total Buchanan Wharf will comprise more than 1m sq ft of grade-A office space, plus homes and landscaped public spaces.
Work is already under way on a 470,000 sq ft campus building for Barclays Bank and a 324-flat BTR scheme.
Halliday Fraser Munro is architect for the site and is advising on planning.
