DTZ appoints Rickert as group finance director

DTZ has appointed its chief operating and chief financial officer, Bob Rickert, to the board with immediate effect.

The agent said today that on joining the board, Rickert will assume the title of group finance director as well as retaining his chief operating officer position.

Rickert, 48, joined DTZ in March as chief operating officer and was subsequently appointed as chief financial officer.

He moved to the group from Barclays, where he had been the chief information officer of global retail and commercial banking from January 2006 to February 2009.

DTZ chairman Tim Melville-Ross said: “Since his arrival in March 2009 and subsequent appointment as CFO, Bob has made a considerable impact on the group’s operations.

“He has had extensive experience of managing global businesses throughout his career and has also been responsible for managing a number of large scale change programmes. We are delighted to welcome him to the group board.”

Rickert was among four senior executives from Barclays to join DTZ as part of the agent’s management restructure.
