Mark Hirons, Wayne Morgan and Philip Yapp have left the Cardiff office of DTZ Debenham Thorpe to launch a new surveying firm.
The new company, called Hirons Morgan and Yapp, will deal with office and industrial agency, valuations, landlord and tenant work, and residential letting and development. The firm will be based at 23 Windsor Place in Cardiff.
Hirons said that the upturn in the market influenced the decision to launch the new company. He added: “Things are definitely starting to move in the market. The whole of South Wales is buzzing at the moment, particularly with inward investment like Lucky Goldstar.”
DTZ has appointed two new associate directors. Murray Shepherd joins the residential team from Crown & Co while Simon Lloyd, formerly of the Development Board of Rural Wales, will deal with industrial property.
