DTZ Bahrain and WS Atkins have issued a statement after the loss of two employees in the recent boat accident in Bahrain.
Lucinda Lamb and her husband Jason were among the 58 people who are confirmed to have died when a pleasure boat capsized in the Gulf off the coast of Bahrain.
The two-deck Arabic dhow, carrying passengers who were celebrating completion of part of the Bahrain World Trade Centre towers, sank on Thursday 30th March.
The couple leave behind two young children who are being cared for by relatives.
Robin Williamson, Managing Director for DTZ’s Middle East Operations said:
“Lucinda’s death is a terrible loss. She was an exceptional professional and a very popular member of the team.”
Bob Hope, Atkins Director Northern Gulf added: “Jason was an outstanding employee and, together with Lucinda, we have lost both a friend and colleague.
“The parents and close family have asked that they are left to grieve in peace during this very difficult time.”
