DTZ has lost the contract to manage Safeway’s non-operational property in the North of England and Scotland.
The supermarkets group has appointed Rapleys, which already manages Safeway’s non-operational properties in the South and all of its operational properties. The grocer has a £6bn property portfolio.
Rapleys would not comment on the news but last month set up an office in Edinburgh, which will be headed by Fiona Limbrick, who previously handled work for Safeway in the South.
