DTZ Zadelhoff is to open an office in Katowice, Poland’s biggest provincial city. Initially, the base is being set up to serve a new instruction under construction at Chorzowska 50 in the city.
The firm has been appointed to let a 20,000m2 office building forming the second phase of a development being carried out by a jv between Bessix of Belgium and Slaski Bank, which is part of ING group.
The jv has already built phase one, a headquarter building being occupied by Slaski Bank. The second building, being developed speculatively, will be ready later this year. DTZ is asking 25 per m2 a month.
According to Alan Colquhoun, a director of the Warsaw office, said: “We are seeing one or two projects with euro funding and quoting rents in euro and we will see more.”
DTZ will be involved in managing the phase two building that the jv is developing.
