DTZ to lose agents from retail team

A handful of agents within DTZ’s retail team are leaving the firm.

Strutt & Parker has poached associate directors Harry Wills and Chris White from DTZ’s retail investment team.

The pair follow in the footsteps of DTZ’s former shopping centre investment director, Antony Nickalls, who was appointed to run Strutt & Parker’s shopping centre investment team last August.

Tom Welham and Mark Painter are also both understood to be leaving DTZ’s retail agency division.

DTZ has appointed James Williams as director in retail investment. Currently a director in the company’s business space investment team, he will join the retail team in April and focus on shopping centre investment.

Williams said: “I look forward to an exciting new challenge; utilising my nine years’ of investment market experience and client base to enhance our capabilities in the sector.”

Mark Williams, senior director in retail investment at DTZ, added: “James brings a huge amount of significant investment experience to this role. He is an important addition to the team, which we will be seeking to strengthen even further in the coming months.”
