Dublin’s Buswells Hotel hits market at €22m

Dublin’s iconic Buswells Hotel has been placed on the market with a guide price of €22m (£19m).

Located opposite Ireland’s parliament, Leinster House, the 19th century hotel is a haunt for politicians and journalists, as well as tourists hoping to catch some gossip.

This 67-bedroom hotel is offered for sale free of management agreement and brand by Savills Ireland. Recent STR data for Dublin showed strong trade, with July occupancy of 86% at an ADR of €188 and RevPAR 21% above July 2019.

Tom Barrett, Savills’ head of hotels and leisure, said: “Buswells is in the best Dublin location. Prime, but discreet and at the centre of everything an upscale hotel guest requires. This hotel presents a very rare opportunity to add value to a trophy Dublin hotel.”
