Dunelm cleaning up with a little help from social media friends

Dunelm has defied the retail gloom after a cleaning craze fuelled by social media influencers propelled sales of its mops, cushions and bath racks.
The company’s valuation has soared by almost 60 per cent in the year to date, putting it streets ahead of peers who have fallen out of favour with investors concerned about the health of the British retail sector. This week Marks & Spencer was relegated from the FTSE 100.
