Dunnes Stores and TK Maxx have been signed as anchor tenants for London and Regional’s Antonine shopping centre in Cumbernauld.
Dunnes has taken 43,000 sq ft, TK Maxx 30,000 sq ft and Woolworths 17,000 sq ft of the 250,000 sq ft scheme located 12 miles outside Glasgow.
Construction is due to start in January, with completion scheduled for Easter 2007.
Dorothy Perkins, Stylo Barrett, Claire’s Accessories, O2, JJB Sports, O’Briens, Select Ladieswear, Colours Clothing, Hair Express and Costa Coffee have all taken 3,000 sq ft units.
Cumbernauld’s existing best zone A rent level’s are £55-£60, with zone A rents at the centre reaching £70.
Joint letting agents, Cushman & Wakefield Healey and Baker and Montagu Evans, have reported 40% of the centre is let and a further 25% is under offer.
