Peloton Real Estate has let 91,000 sq ft of space at its newly refurbished Interchange scheme, located within Huyton Business Park in Liverpool.
Peloton originally acquired the site, previously occupied by Concord Filing Products, in 2018 and undertook a £2.7m revamp and rebrand to create an 84,439 sq ft warehouse with offices on the ground and first floors, a new roof and a 60m-deep yard, as well as two prominent semi-detached trade counter facilities, each extending to 6,500 sq ft.
The main 84,439 sq ft industrial building was taken by composite insulated panel manufacturer Hemsec on a 10-year lease, while one of the trade spaces has been let to City Plumbing, also on a 10-year lease.
CBRE advised Peloton, together with joint agent B8 Real Estate. Hemsec was advised by Eddisons while City Plumbing was advised by Mason Owen.
Darren Hill, director at CBRE Liverpool, said: “Both lettings were secured virtually upon practical completion of the refurbishment works. This is testament to both the quality of the works and the continued strength of the industrial sector, where stock levels are severely constrained and demand remains strong.”
