Dupont leaves AXA REIM

Charles-Dupont-THUMBHead of AXA Real Estate Investment Management’s infrastructure funds Charles Dupont has left the company.

Dupont had been with the firm for just over two years and was managing a €2.3bn  (£1.6bn) third party infrastructure fund for the French insurer.

In addition, Dupont was also a member of the executive committee at AXA REIM which approves investment decisions across the company’s funds.

An AXA REIM spokesman said: “Charles Dupont has decided to pursue another business opportunity and left AXA Real Estate on 31 July. We wish him every success in his future project. Isabelle Scemama, head of funds group, will manage on an interim basis the co-ordination of the infrastructure debt platform”

Prior to joining AXA REIM, Dupont was a vice-president within the infrastructure asset management business of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in Paris, and before that a partner with Antin Infrastructure Partners.
