Dutch insurer prepares to offload offices in Netherlands

Dutch insurance company Delta Lloyd has put a €125m portfolio of offices onto the market.

Delta Lloyd, which has a €1.8bn portfolio of direct and indirect property investments, most of which are homes and offices, is selling 20 buildings in the Randstad region, between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht, in the west of the country.

The portfolio is similar to one sold last year by BPF Bouwinvest to RREEF and a Dutch investor for €200m. However, market sources said the quality of assets and tenants in the portfolio being offered by Delta Lloyd is lower. The BPF Bouwinvest portfolio also contained 20 office buildings, most of which arein the Randstad area, which required intensive asset management.

Jones Lang LaSalle has won the mandate to conduct the Delta Lloyd sale.
