The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has signed for 16,000 sq ft (1,490 sq m) of offices at Wilson Bowden’s Nottingham Business Park, near junction 26 of the M1.
The DVLA has paid £16 per sq ft (£172 per sq m) on a 15-year lease for the space within Building D.
Other occupiers at the 120-acre (49ha) park, where the first buildings were completed early last year, include Medical Solutions, Inter-Alliance Group and David Wilson Homes.
The next speculative building, the 13,000 sq ft (1,210 sq m) Building C, will be completed in May.
A detailed planning application has been submitted for a further 46,000 sq ft (4,270 sq m) of offices at the park.
Fin Mitchell, development manager at Wilson Bowden, said: “The quality of the buildings and its location have contributed to the park’s success to date.”
Nottingham-based agent Fisher Hargreaves Proctor is retained by Wilson Bowden in the East Midlands.
